Acne Tips

Frequently changing your linens can have a remarkably beneficial effect for your acne problems. When you are in bed, these oils are transferred onto your bed linen. Then they go back to your skin. To avoid this re-contamination process, launder your bedding often.

To help your acne, you want to use garlic, a natural antioxidant. It purges toxins that exist in the body and clears the way of the development of new skin. Add garlic to all your favorite recipes, or take a garlic supplement to get the full benefits of this skin-friendly food.

The herbs used to make chamomile tea act as a great herbal acne remedy. After it has cooled, put a tea bag on your blemishes to control the redness and swelling; you should see results after two or three hours.

While tempting, don't pick or pop your pimples! Try using a cream to treat them as an alternative. You can cause scarring and infection by picking acne. You could also get scars or discoloration.

Being too hot or too cold can contribute to acne breakouts. You'll more than likely be sweating a lot more when the weather gets hot. Sweating may clog the pores and could cause significant irritation. This can cause your acne problems. Cold weather can sap moisture from your skin. Both are undesirable.
